July 2006. "Temporary Hiatus from perfoming "

After a few years of hitting it hard with his original material, noel is taking a bit of a break to concentrate on Family and his music school "the Wentworth Music Education Center"

"It makes me sad that I Can't be hitting the writing and recording as much as I was. I'm looking forward to getting back to it as soon as I can. Family and Business has left me with little time to pursue this area of my Life. It has left me with a lot to write about. I still get to write ideas down ...I'll be back better than ever" noel says

Noel's dream of providing kids with an opportunity to play in bands has come true. The Wentworth Music Education Center just completed it's first large show at the end of june at the Mary Irwin Theatre in Kelowna

"You should have seen it. There were 17 bands and 35 solo acts. All on a huge stage under smoke, $100,000 worth of lights (including some Martin Entours - industry standard moving intelligent lights) , A large drum riser, marshal stacks, colored backdrops, big PA , you name it. it had all the looks and feel of a band on tour. It's been my dream to give all my students the opportunity of a lifetime and perform in groups like this (albeit all of them a little spoiled now -venue wise- compared to a few of the places i've played over the years). I am so jazzed about the next one in january...A tribute to the Beatles..."says Noel "Some of the parents even said it changed their kids lives...I know it sounds cheezy ,but anyone who knows me can attest that I enjoy making a difference in other peoples lives by doing things that i love to do. If I can share my passion for music with others and fulfill their dreams at the same time, I can't think of a better thing in the whole world...It just makes me feel on top of the world you know?Like I'm making a difference"

May 2 , 2005 - German Review of "Change"

The google translation doesn't do it justice and at times it's quite comical from that stand point. for example...A clear and clear "Wow!" makes itself broad in the head, when the first tones of "Make ring out way for to ME ". or " "Wow!" from first to the last Song held itself, because with CHANGES a quite noteworthy album presented to Noel Wentworth. Very large respect is entitled to the Canadian for its multi-instrument valley ability at nearly all used instruments" . The reader should be able to read between the lines.
