Well , I'm not sure what to say. It's been a awhile since i last sent out a newsletter but i was waiting for a shwack of news to come in to share. First on the list is that My second CD is finished and i'm just waiting for the art work to be done now. The album will be called Change.

After writing 24 songs , upgrading my entire studio with new cables , new software/hardware , microphones , all new sound samples. Playing live bass, live drums , and bringing in a few session players, Then Mixing ,and mastering ..<deep breath>.whew! I've got it narrowed down and have decided on 11 songs that i felt truly spoke of how i envision my developing sound and/or of who i am as a person.

The order will go

1, Make way for me

2. Something about me's changed

3. Stuck inside this moment

4. This is where i make believe

5. Take me away from here

6. Just one year

7. Who will find my dreams tomorrow

8. This might be all i need

9. The one that got away

10. Good times , good friends , some beer and a radio

11. These 4 reasons

The CD was mastered in Vancouver by the Very talented Jamie Sitar at suite sound labs . This is the same guy who also mastered such albums and acts as Theory of a deadman , and Biff Naked to name a few. This will give the CD a smoothness i couldn't do myself, so that it sounds good and consistent on different stereo systems .

Just about all the songs if you did hear them have been redone with live drums by Scott Grant ( a fantastic local session player and drum instructor) .The CD will be for sale hopefully by the end of July if not early August . I have a full band on board and rehearsals have begun for this summers performances. Even though it's a huge accomplishment to be done the CD, The work has just started for me .

Well , I'm very excited ...I'll let you all know when the CD release party is.

Hey! Wanna hear the funny part. I haven't stopped. I've just finished another 4 songs ...sheesh already another CD and the second isn't even out yet . Let's see how many i write before i come down to the final cuts for the next one. Any bets?

...regardless.. all i can say is whoo hoo! I'm on a roll baby!

=====> 2. Make a star.com and my second licensing deal

Well, thank you all for voting. The song "something about me's changed" Is now up for another song spot on one of Make astar.com CD compilations. The really exciting news is that Make a star.com has just got distribution for their CD's in Wherehouse one , FYE , Strawberries , and Coconuts music Nationally in the U.S.A. So my track "the last to know" will be available in stores down there shortly ...I hope a few sell. But even if they don't it may drive some traffic to my Web site and may spread the word i'm out here doing my thang. The same song that won this time round also placed 7th out of 256 bands in the SUN FM and the Center for performing arts Best of the okanagan Compilation CD. Apparently my song has been heard on the radio already as i have been getting some emails and a call or two from friends who have heard it . (WHAAAAH I WANNA HEAR IT TOO). Oh well it's good to know that other people out there like it enough for it to place that high on the CD, plus again it's great exposure for my song.

Well it's a necessary part of the job, and I enjoy it a lot . Plus .I get to feel like a rock star. What 's this about? Well, I just finished a photo shoot with the very talented Glen Durrell. -June 17,18,19 (thurs-sat) O'flannigans pub on Queensway

-Thursday July 1 Kelowna Community Theater -Original showcase for the public (time TBA)

July 1 Canada Day -No mistake ,I will be playing the island stage at waterfront park in Kelowna for the canada day celebrations from 8pm-9pm as well. I will also be giving away stickers and free music samplers from my latest CD

Saturday July 3 Summer kick off party. Downtown Kelowna at Kerry park from 8-9 PM.

Friday July 16 The Laughing moon 7:30-9:30

Friday August 6 Noel will be playing Mardi's Gras weekend - Friday night from 8-9 at the island

stage waterfront park.
