Hey you all. So this is the first newsletter ,One of many to come. Well i've got a lot of news so lets get down to it.

The new web page is up and ready for business, Hope you all like the new look and feel. I love it. Once again the amazing davidicus did another great job . Love that spin. I find myself playing with the mouse over it again and again. The funny story behind that was that during the video shoot for what you see there, i got so incredibly sick spinning around and around (Motion Sickness - new album title for the follow up? ...nah ).We tried many takes (too many for me) to get a good spin with some decent lighting given with what we were working with. I tried so hard to keep a grin on my face whole time. At the end of each take i would let out a big Uuugh! But the effect is great isn't it . Round of applause please for all involved.... no more spinning for me

I've been working hard on getting material together for the new CD . Thanks to everyone for being patient. I've written a lot of material but only a hand full will make it the CD. You can hear some of the new slated tracks on the web page under Music and Media. Let me know what you think. For the first time as well I will be releasing acoustic demos to the public to hear how things start as i manipulate them into fully produced songs .So check back often for some surprises

New show dates! I will be playing solo at the Laughing moon in Kelowna Saturday,July 27 . This is a small venue so reserve a table early. There will be a cover charge of $5 a person at the door. This will be a evening dedicated to original music .I will be playing nearly all the tracks off of Motion as well as a whack of new ones. It should be a lot of fun. I'm really jazzed about it . I might throw the occasional cover tune in but unlike most of the pub gigs i do this place encourages us to play all originals. Cheers to them! CD's will be on sale for $10 at the stage as well. I will also be playing O'flannigans pub June 12,13 and 14th. Come on down and sing along to the old favorites we all know and love ...better yet come on down and sing along to my music .

More and more support is coming in . I recently did a radio interview with a weekly radio program called outside the box. This show is dedicated to bring you all a good taste of original independent music from all over the Okanagan and beyond . The show airs on Giant FM every saturday night from 6-7 in penticton, and Wednesday nights from 9-10 pm on 107.5 Kiss FM in Vernon. You can hear the actual interview i did on my site under music and media. Speaking of radio, I need your help . If you haven't done so call up Sun FM or email john@thesun.net with the title "request a song" ....might i suggest Sleep . Sun has been very gracious playing my music but the more support out there especially after some of my shows could help gain some attention .

Also .If you didn't already know my first CD Motion is for sale on CD baby.com. So if any of your friends you know who might be interested in picking up a copy securely you can get one there. Click on the CD cover in the news and events to take you straight there. Funds are in american dollars so keep that in mind. Of course Autographed CD's are still available through me for $10 canadian.
